Menlo Park resident Berni Jahnke is well known throughout the Bay Area for her thoughtful watercolor interpretations of travel scenes and people from around the world. Her solo show "Faces 'n Places" features scenes from Scotland, China, Provence, Africa and the USA. Using resource materials from her extensive travels Jahnke brings her own unique and very personal style to her watercolor scenes whether an exotic corner of the world, an ethnic elder or playful child. Jahnke holds signature membership in the California Watercolor Society, The Transparent Watercolor Society of America and the Society of Western Artists.
