We are the only organization that delivers essential services and personalized support to connect the people living in poverty among us to the full range of resources and services they need. More than just ensuring our clients are fed, clothed, healthy, and housed, we help them create their own stability and remain an active, successful part of the community. Over recent years, more and more families in San Mateo County have been thrust into poverty. From the COVID-19 pandemic, to increasing wealth inequality, to the impacts of inflation and the housing crisis, the financial pressures on our neighbors have grown. Through it all, Samaritan House has been here to help – keeping pace with the demand and opening up new possibilities for people living in poverty. Though the road ahead is uncertain, we remain steadfast to our commitment to helping over 32,000 of our neighbors living in poverty every year. This class is designed to prepare students for the SAT Math IC or Math IIC exams. Students will review major concepts that comprise the exam questions through lectures, drills and practice exams. Students will be thoroughly familiarized with the relevant mathematical concepts and test taking strategies that will allow them to perfrom to their full potential on the SAT Math exams.
