John Martin will be on hand to discuss his best-selling coffee table book, The Islands of San Francisco Bay. His book includes stories and photos on the history and ecology of 48 islands, including well-known ones like Alcatraz and Angel Island and many lesser-knowns, including Elephant, Rat, Needle and Station, home to a Wild West ghost town.
