Fratello Marionettes' "The Frog Prince"

Menlo Park Library presents free performance of classic fairy tale

The Menlo Park Library is presenting a free family event on December 28, a production of “The Frog Prince” by the Fratello Marionettes.

Fratello’s version of the classic tale of the selfish princess & the enchanted frog promises stunning acrobatics, a wicked witch, a handsome prince, and much more.

The Fratello Marionettes began entertaining audiences in 1989. Kevin Menegus & company produce high-quality marionette shows using the cabaret style of manipulation. The shows are filled with wonderful marionettes that range in size from one foot to three feet tall. In addition to sophisticated trick marionette numbers, a performance may include singers, dancers, trained dogs, clowns, and a hula-dancing grandma.

The Fratello Marionettes will perform at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, December 28 at the Menlo Park Library, located at 800 Alma Street. No reservations are necessary; most seating will be on the floor. This event is made possible by contributions to the Friends of the Menlo Park Library.
