FREE Workshop on Drought Tolerant Gardens

FREE WORKSHOP ON DROUGHT TOLERANT GARDENS

Menlo Park, CA – Learn how to drought-proof your garden with this FREE workshop on October 11th from 9 a.m. to noon, at the Arrillaga Family Recreation Center (Oak Room) located at 700 Alma St. This class will focus on water-saving garden techniques including plant selection and placement, irrigation, soil preparation, and site design. Also learn about the Lawn Be Gone program that provides $2 per square foot in rebates for converting lawns into water-efficient landscapes. Please bring a 6” pot to work with during this workshop.
