FREE Workshop: Grow Your Own Sustainable Edibles

Learn how to start your own water-wise edible garden.

Menlo Park, CA – Learn how to start your own water-wise edible garden with this FREE workshop on November 8th from 9 a.m. to noon, at the Arrillaga Family Recreation Center (Oak Room) located at 700 Alma St. This workshop will focus on methods of reducing water needs for vegetable gardening, organic maintenance techniques such as composting, mulching, and the use of cover crops, and how to transition your edible garden through the seasons. Additionally, there will be a vegetable plant giveaway for participants of this workshop. Please bring a 6” pot to work with.
