Menlo 58, Crystal Springs 33
Relentless defense in the second quarter pushed the Menlo boys' basketball team to a 58-33 victory over Crystal Springs Uplands at home Friday.

The Knights embarked on a 5-0 run in the second quarter, giving them a 31-19 halftime lead.
Menlo stressed defense in practice this week. “We were lacking in defensive intensity – something that has been our trademark this year,” Coach Delandro Leday said.
Senior Richard Harris dominated the game on both ends as he changed or blocked shots and scored at will on his way to 24 points and 15 rebounds to go along with four blocks. Fellow seniors James Huber contributed nine while Freddy Avis chipped in with eight.
