Menlo Park Police Seeking Armed Robbers of Willow Road Store
Four men reportedly robbed the El Rancho Market of $18,000, striking a clerk in the process.

Police are looking for four suspects in an armed robbery at a Menlo Park market last week, a police sergeant said.
Officers responded to a report of an armed robbery at El Rancho Market at 812 Willow Road around 6:30 p.m. on Dec. 16, Menlo Park police Sgt. Tim Brackett said. The four suspects wearing masks and hooded sweatshirts with the hood pulled up entered the business, according to Brackett.
One of the suspects demanded for money from the cash register and struck a person who was unable to open the machine, he said. The suspect closed his fist and struck the person multiple times in the face resulting in injuries not considered life-threatening, Brackett said.

Two other suspects took an attendant into the marketās locked check cashing office where they demanded money from the cash registers, Brackett said.
One of the two suspects in the office brandished a black semi-automatic handgun and afterwards gained access to a cash drawer in the booth, he said. The four suspects left the scene with $18,000 and fled on foot south on Durham Street, according to Brackett.

They were last seen in the area of Arnold Way and OāKeefe Street, police said. Officers searched the area for the suspects but were unable to find them, according to police.
The first suspect is described as a black man standing about 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall wearing a white hooded sweatshirt and a dark red facemask, police said. He was also wearing black gloves, dark jeans and dark or gray tennis shoes, police said.
The second and third suspects are described as men of unknown race also standing between 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall, according to police.
The second suspect wore a black hooded sweatshirt, a dark or black colored facemask, black gloves, blue jeans and dark or gray tennis shoes, police said.
The third suspect was wearing a gray or dark hooded sweatshirt, a white facemask, black gloves, black jeans and white tennis shoes, police said.
The fourth suspect is described as a black man standing about 6 feet tall wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, white facemask, black gloves, blue jeans and gray and white tennis shoes, according to police.
