Menlo School Boys Water Polo Team Illuminated
The crowd at Menlo was treated to an exciting non-league match-up under the lights against two of the top-5 teams in the CCS.
Following an even first quarter, St. Francis went on a 7-3 run to take a big lead at half. With both teams making some big changes, Menlo made a major comeback, winning the fourth quarter 6-2.
Menlo saw seven players score and was backed by strong goalkeeping by junior John Wilson and senior Alexander Lazar. The Menlo Knights play host to Sacramento's Jesuit this Saturday at 5:45 following which, the players are hosting the Jesuit players for a dinner and a chance to celebrate the game together following their match.
