Missing San Mateo Teen Thought To Be In Santa Clara County
Police release photo of teen, 17, who could be be in area of Los Trancos Open Space Preserve.
San Mateo police have released a photo of a missing 17-year-old boy who family members fear could be planning to harm himself.
Jordan Alexander Mann was reported missing FridayĀ at 12:15 p.m., according to police.
He sent a text message just after noon apologizing to his family and making statements that indicated he could be a danger to himself, police said.

Police are actively searching for Mann, who is described as a black male, 6 feet 1 inches tall and 195 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
Police believe he may be in Santa Clara County somewhere near the Los Trancos Open Space Preserve. Santa Clara County law enforcement officials have been notified and are assisting in the search.
