From FIT4MOM:
By early February, people start to fall away from keeping their New Year’s resolutions. Fit4Mom Midpeninsula is opening a new location in Menlo Park, just in time to help local moms keep their New Year’s resolutions going strong.
“Fit4Mom classes are a great way to get back in shape, as well as stay in shape,” said Sara Mooser and Michele Lewis, co-owners of Fit4Mom Midpeninsula. “We present a fun opportunity for the moms of the Midpeninsula community to turn their strollers into a tool for a workout.”

Moms and kids will have the opportunity to get their hair cut by Tiffany Rose Cosmetics, take a free Waterbabies class through Menlo Swim and Sport, do crafts with playroom coordinators from Bumble Los Altos, hear a book reading by staff from Cheeky Monkey, and more after the 60 minute Stroller Strides class.
There will be goodie bags with swag from the above vendors and many more including Fleet Feet Menlo Park, Athleta, Spoon & Spatula Bakery, Keeping It Real Food Co, Momentum Cycling Studio, Reading Bug, Happy Baby, BOB Strollers, Luna, and Mable’s Labels.
Stroller Strides is an hour-long workout program designed for moms of all fitness levels. Kids ages 6 weeks to four or five years (basically as long as they’ll stay in the stroller for the class) are welcome.
The class includes power walking or jogging, strength training and core work. At the same time, moms are interacting with their kids with songs, games like peekaboo and other fun. The classes are always followed by a play time so that moms and kids to get to know each other better.
According to Mooser and Lewis, Fit4Mom classes allow women to exercise in a social atmosphere where children can benefit from watching their moms participate.
