One Hospitalized in Menlo Park Fire: Chief

The burn victim was taken to a hospital Wednesday afternoon.

MENLO PARK, CA – One person suffered burns in a one-alarm fire this afternoon in Menlo Park, the city's fire chief said.

The fire was reported at 3 p.m. in a first floor apartment on Oak Grove Avenue, Menlo Park Fire Protection District Fire Chief Harold Schapelhouman said.

Firefighters knocked it down at 3:30 p.m. The burn victim was taken to a hospital.

Oak Grove Avenue is closed between Laurel and Alma streets.
