Peninsula Man Accused of Masturbating in Local Parking Structure

REDWOOD CITY, CA — A Redwood City man was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of indecent exposure and a probation violation, San Mateo County sheriff's officials said Thursday.

At 12:15 p.m., officers responded to a call reporting that a man was masturbating in the parking lot of an apartment complex in the 200 block of Dumbarton Avenue in unincorporated Redwood City, according to the
sheriff's office.

Deputies detained a man matching the reported description and confirmed with a person at the scene that he was the suspect.

The man, identified as 27-year-old Julio Franco, was found to be on county probation.

Franco was booked into the Maguire Correctional Facility.
