Investigating offers found that the shots were aimed at a woman.

A gunfire detector recorded three to four shots fired late Monday in East Palo Alto with at least one meant to hit a person, police said today.
One or more suspects fired the shots just before midnight in the 100 block of Abelia Way, East Palo Alto police Sgt. Rod Tuason said.
Responding officers discovered that a person had been shot at, but bullets did not hit her, Tuason said. Tuason said officers found the person with injuries and thought she had been hit by the gunfire.
