'At Risk' Missing Woman Home Safe: Los Altos Police
BREAKING: In an update at 7 p.m. Wednesday, police said the woman had been located.

LOS ALTOS, CA ā An elderly woman who went missing Wednesday from a Peninsula medical facility has been located and has safely returned home, police said just after 7 p.m.
According to police, an alert citizen encountered 82-year-old Rosemary Farley and noticed she appeared lost. The citizen "stepped up" to help her back to safety, police said.
Earlier, the Los Altos Police Department asked for the public's help in finding Farley after she walked away from the local medical facility.

Police said Farley left the Palo Alto Medical Foundation, which is located on Distel Circle ā a small street off El Camino Real, near San Antonio Road, around 1 p.m.
Farley was considered at-risk because she suffers from memory loss and may become disoriented, police said in an earlier news release.
