Robber Hits Up Peninsula 7-Eleven Store
Police said the man held up a convenience store clerk at gunpoint.

SAN MATEO, CA — San Mateo police are asking for the public's help in finding a man who robbed a local convenience store recently. The holdup happened around 11 p.m. Thursday at the 7-Eleven store in the 600 block of 3rd Avenue, near Delaware Street, according to SMPD Sgt. Amanda Von Glahn.
Von Glahn said police were told by the victim "that a masked man entered the store and stole money from the cash register" while holding the victim at gunpoint.
"Within seconds, the man ran from the store and out of sight," she said.

The man remains at large.
The suspect was described as a Hispanic man in his early to mid 20s who is about 5 feet 8 inches tall, 150 to 160 pounds, and wore a dark-colored hoodie, a light-colored mask and dark blue jeans, according to police.
