SamTrans Offering 'Summer Youth Pass' With Unlimited Rides

SamTrans is offering young riders an all-you-can-ride SamTrans Summer Youth Pass this summer, and for the first time ever, the pass can be bought online.

Transit officials said the youth pass is $40 for passengers 18 years old or younger, and includes unlimited rides from June 1 to Aug. 31.

According to transit officials, the pass would save youth riders around $41 when compared to purchasing three monthly passes.

The Summer Youth Pass went on sale Saturday and will be available for purchase through July 15.

Interested persons can visit the new "store" section of the SamTrans website, or can order via mail or fax or by visiting the SamTrans headquarters in San Carlos to purchase the pass.
