Knights Finish Strong Season

Soquel beats Menlo by four, resulting in a 19-10 overall mark for the Knights.

The Menlo School girls’ basketball team closed out a strong season, fighting Soquel throughout the CCS semifinal game, but came up short in a 37-33 loss at Notre Dame-Belmont on Tuesday.

The Knights finished the season with a 19-10 overall mark, including a West Bay Athletic League Tournament championship win over Mercy-San Francisco, which will meet Soquel in the CCS final.

Against Soquel, junior center Drew Edelman finished with 15 points and 10 rebounds. Menlo took a one-point lead late in the fourth quarter but could not convert down the stretch.
