Toxicology Results Out in Death of Robin Williams
The Marin County Sheriff's Office released its final report in the death of the actor on Friday.

Marin County coronerās officials have completed their investigation into the death of actor Robin Williams.
Williams, who was found hanged in his Bay Area home near Tiburon, was discovered unconscious and not breathing on Aug. 11. He was pronounced dead at 12:02 p.m.
On Friday, nearly three months since the news of Williamsā death shook the nation and reignited discussions of mental illness and depression, coronerās office made public the results of their investigation.

Williamsā official cause of death was listed as āasphyxia due to hanging,ā and the manner of death was ruled suicide.
āToxicological evaluation revealed the absence of alcohol or illicit drug,ā the Marin County coronerās report reads. āPrescription medications were detected in therapeutic concentrations.ā
