'Unseasonably Hot Temps' Bound For Menlo Park: Record Highs Expected Around Bay Area

NWS officials are calling for a "rapid warming trend" around the region this week. Find out when temperatures will peak. (breaking)

MENLO PARK, CA — Weather officials are warning Bay Area residents to prepare for some unseasonably hot weather in the coming days. The "rapid warming trend" is expected to peak on Tuesday, but temperatures will likely remain above normal through the end of the work week, "and perhaps into the weekend," according to the National Weather Service. Currently, it's expected to remain dry through Halloween.

Sunny, with a high near 87. Calm wind becoming north 5 to 8 mph in the afternoon.
