We are the only organization that delivers essential services and personalized support to connect the people living in poverty among us to the full range of resources and services they need. More than just ensuring our clients are fed, clothed, healthy, and housed, we help them create their own stability and remain an active, successful part of the community. Over recent years, more and more families in San Mateo County have been thrust into poverty. From the COVID-19 pandemic, to increasing wealth inequality, to the impacts of inflation and the housing crisis, the financial pressures on our neighbors have grown. Through it all, Samaritan House has been here to help – keeping pace with the demand and opening up new possibilities for people living in poverty. Police asked the public to be on the lookout for an 81- year-old man with moderate dementia, who drove away from his Indio home this morning. Juan Brawner was last seen about 9:30 a.m., when he drove off in a gold- colored, 2007 Honda CRV. Brawner is originally from Menlo Park, and relatives suspect he might be trying to drive to that Northern California city, said Indio police Sgt. Dan Marshall. Officers determined he used an ATM at a Chevron gas station in Thousand Palms, in the direction of Menlo Park, the sergeant said.The Honda has a license plate number 6AXY178, surrounded by a bracket that says "Save a Life Learn CPR." Anyone with information about Brawner's whereabouts was asked to call Indio police at (760) 391-4057.--City News Service

Officers determined he used an ATM at a Chevron gas station in Thousand Palms, in the direction of Menlo Park, the sergeant said.The Honda has a license plate number 6AXY178, surrounded by a bracket that says “Save a Life Learn CPR.”
