Harker Rallies to Tie Menlo Boys With Only Seconds Remaining
The Menlo School boys' soccer team broke a 0-0 deadlock with 2:30 to play, but Harker countered and the teams settled for a 1-1 tie in West Bay Athletic League action Wednesday in San Jose.

The Knights, who hold a 4-1-2 record (14 points), kept a hold on second place at the midpoint of league play. The King’s Academy (4-1-1, 13 points) also played league leader Sacred Heart Prep (6-0-1, 19 points) to a 1-1 tie Wednesday.
At Harker, Menlo junior Max Parker collected a diagonal pass across the top of the box from senior Henry Bard and neatly shot across the keeper far post to put Menlo up 1-0 with only 2:30 minutes to play.
Harker rallied back after Menlo failed to clear and tied the game with 20 seconds left in the match.
Menlo is now 7-1-4 and faces league leader Sacred Heart Prep at 2:45 p.m. on Friday.
