'Well Below Average' Temps Expected In Menlo Park: Weekend Weather Forecast

MENLO PARK, CA – Planning your weekend around the Bay Area? Though we're nearing summer, you can still expect some cooler temperatures.

"Temperatures will remain well below seasonal averages, especially inland, through the upcoming weekend," the National Weather Service said on Friday. "In addition, there is a slight chance of showers across the northern portion of the region Saturday with possible thunderstorms on Sunday afternoon."

Come next week, a gradual warming trend is expected.

As for Menlo Park in particular, here's what the NWS says you can expect weather-wise:

Sunny, with a high near 71. West northwest wind 9 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph.

Tonight
Mostly clear, with a low around 51. West northwest wind 9 to 14 mph becoming light northwest after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 18 mph.

Saturday
Mostly sunny, with a high near 69. West northwest wind 5 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 18 mph.

Saturday Night
Partly cloudy, with a low around 50. West northwest wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.

Sunday
Mostly sunny, with a high near 65. West northwest wind around 14 mph, with gusts as high as 18 mph.

Sunday Night
Mostly clear, with a low around 50.

Monday
Sunny, with a high near 72.
