Woman's Car Burglarized, Then Later Her House Broken Into, Another Vehicle Stolen

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA – Police in Mountain View are asking for the public's help in finding a man who stole a woman's purse and car and burglarized her house last week.

The woman's purse was stolen from her locked car, which was parked in the 500 block of Showers Drive from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Jan. 11.

The woman reported the burglary to police, and then returned to her Mountain View home to find her residence had been burglarized and another family car, a 2001 silver Lexus, stolen.

Police believe the same man committed both crimes. He is described as being between 30 and 35 years old with brown hair and eyes, standing between 6 feet and 6 foot 3 inches tall.
