• Mill Valley approves 5-year paving plan (marinij.com) — Mill Valley is moving ahead with a five-year, $18.2 million paving program that will resurface or repave more than half of the city’s streets, but it depends on voters extending the municipal services tax this November. City officials are also coordinating with PG&E’s plan to underground electrical lines along West Blithedale and nearby streets, plus adding new sidewalks, crosswalks and pedestrian signals using a recent grant.
• Bay Area banker wants to swap his $8M estate for AI company stock (foxbusiness.com) — A Mill Valley estate owner is trying to trade his roughly $4.8 million, view-filled home and adjacent land for stock in AI company Anthropic instead of a traditional sale. The banker hopes to find an employee willing to swap illiquid shares for a turnkey Bay Area property as the company eyes a potential IPO.
