MARIN COUNTY, CA — Forward progress has been stopped on the Chileno Fire burning in Marin County on Sunday.
Multiple agencies responded to the vegetation fire west of Petaluma at about 4:40 p.m. near Chileno Valley Road, four miles south of Tomales Road, in Marin County.
The fire reached 341 acres by 5:30 p.m. Sunday evening and was at 5% containment.
Crews responding include Marin County Fire, California Highway Patrol, Petaluma Fire, Gold Ridge Fire, and Cal Fire.
