MILL VALLEY, CA — Flooding has closed sections of multiple roads Monday in Mill Valley, prompting police to urge drivers to avoid the areas.
At 12:51 p.m. the Mill Valley Police Department reported flooding has shut down the west side of Redwood Highway Frontage Road between Hamilton Drive and the southbound U.S. Highway 101 Seminary Drive off-ramp.
Drivers on Redwood Highway Frontage Road are being detoured onto Hamilton Drive toward East Blithedale Avenue, police said.
Miller Avenue is also closed between Camino Alto and Almonte Boulevard, according to a Mill Valley Police Department alert issued at 11:39 a.m. Monday.
Both closures are expected to remain in place until floodwaters recede. Drivers should avoid the affected areas and follow posted detours.
