1 Dead In Weekend Shooting In San Jose

Police report the shooting happened around 4:30 p.m. on Sunday.

SAN JOSE, CA — One person was shot on Sunday afternoon in San Jose and was taken to a hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening, according to police.

San Jose police said the shooting was reported at 4:26 p.m. Sunday in the 2700 block of Alum Rock Avenue. Officers arrived on the scene to find the victim suffering from at least one gunshot wound.

Police didn't release any suspect information in the case.
