18|8 Fine Men's Salon Opens in Milpitas: Introduces Entirely New Grooming Experience for Men

Local Milpitas Entrepreneurs to Welcome Affordable Men's Luxury Experience

MILPITAS, Calif. – Calling all men: there is a new salon in town waiting just for you.

18|8 Fine Men’s Salons opens a Milpitas location in Milpitas Town Center. 18|8 channels the essence of cool confidence directly to its discerning clientele, leaving men looking their best – and feeling even better. 18|8 is an upscale haven that understands and caters to the specific genetic styling and grooming needs of a man, providing a distinctive collection of upscale services. Haircuts and grooming are provided in semi-private areas.

“When men walk into 18|8 they will quickly realize this is not an ordinary salon. It is a retreat from the outside world where they can relax for a while and get pampered. 18|8 is filling a void for men’s hair and grooming needs that didn’t really exist before now,” said Rocco Musumeche, the salon’s owner who teamed up with his wife Laurie Musumeche to bring 18|8 to East Bay. The salon is located at 140 N. Milpitas Blvd. in Milpitas. “At 18|8, men can feel comfortable, sit back and enjoy all that we have to offer – that is, premium services in a relaxing manly atmosphere. We are incredibly excited to be introducing this to gentlemen here in Milpitas.”

At 18|8, men can relax in the brand’s signature lounge area with a cold beer and watch their favorite team on a giant flat screen TV before their grooming services; which range from cuts and styling (modern and classic) to straight edge hot lather shaves, facials, scalp treatments and more. The 18|8 team specializes in high end customer service and takes the time to learn about its clients, their personalities and special needs, and then caters services to mirror their lifestyle choices. Guests may even purchase memberships that cover prepaid hair and grooming services.

Scott Griffiths, who launched 18|8 Fine Men’s Salons in 2002, has a track record of creating breakthrough brands. Given his company’s successes during the past decade, he recently began franchising 18|8, sharing the opportunity for driven entrepreneurs such as Rocco and Laurie Musumeche to become part of its growth. Griffiths is a recognized marketing and branding trendsetter who has created and built industry-leading companies across several sectors. Recently, Griffiths cast his golden touch on the hair care industry with 18|8 and by creating the brand Griffs, which uses some of the best ingredients such as quinoa proteins and aloe, and is available exclusively at 18|8.
