4 Arrested In Connection To Deadly San Jose Shooting

The charges stem from a 2016 shooting incident that left two people dead and one person injured.

SAN JOSE, CA -- Police in San Jose have arrested four men in connection with the shooting deaths of two brothers that occurred in 2016. Peter Sanchez, 38, Christopher Ruby, 22, Richard Martinez, 29, and Carlos Hernandez, 41, all from San Jose, were arrested on Wednesday and Thursday, according to the San Jose Police Department.

The charges stem from a 2016 shooting incident that left two people dead and one person injured.

On Aug. 21, 2016, San Jose Police Department officers responded to the 900 block of S. 8th Street on a report of shots fired.

Arriving officers located Michael Ramirez, 27, and Arturo Ramirez, 36, both from San Jose, suffering from gunshot wounds. Michael Ramirez was pronounced deceased at the scene, and Arturo Ramirez died at the hospital a short time later.

Another victim was injured in the shooting, and a fourth victim was shot at but not injured.
