7 Sick After Bumpy San Jose Flight

Firefighters were called at about 7 p.m. and met Flight 1732 from Minneapolis.

SAN JOSE, CA -- Emergency crews responded to Mineta San Jose International Airport Thursday evening after several people reported getting sick on a bumpy Delta Air Lines flight, fire officials said. Firefighters were called at about 7 p.m. and met Flight 1732 from Minneapolis when it landed, according to Delta and fire officials.

Fire Capt. Kevin Stidham said two passengers suffered motion sickness and then five more people got sick.

Stidham said no one was treated at the airport and no one was taken to a hospital.

Airport spokeswoman Rosemary Barnes said the incident did not impact airport operations.
