Accused Sex Offender With Drugs Arrested For Failing To Register
The Milpitas transient was picked up by officers while he sat on a bench on Ranch Drive.

MILPITAS, CA -- The city police department arrested a 45-year-old Milpitas transient on allegations of failing to register as a sex offender and drug possession.
Trevor Dale Dennis Daniel was taken into custody at 11:27 p.m. when two weeks ago he was sitting on a bench on the 300 block of Ranch Drive, spotted an officer and started to walk away. The officer discovered during a check Daniel had not registered as required by law and had methamphetamine in his pants pocket, police said. Detectives with the Special Investigations Unit shared this information with uniformed patrol officers.
The suspect was booked into the Santa Clara County Main Jail.
