• Fake Amazon Delivery Ruse Nets $70,000 in Milpitas (ijr.com) — A Milpitas resident recently lost about $70,000 in jewelry and documents after burglars used a fake Amazon delivery to case her home, then broke in through a backyard door. The crew disabled internet-connected alarms, grabbed a safe, and fled within minutes. Police are investigating, and the victim has shared video hoping neighbors can help identify suspects.
