Arrested: Oct 15 - 21
Public drunkenness, DUI and theft/burglary at the Great Mall top the list of crimes from the last few days.

Thursday, Oct. 21
- Commercial burglary. A 43-year-old San Jose man was arrested at 6:39 p.m. for entering a building or dwelling and petty theft with prior convictions. North Milpitas Boulevard and Beresford Court.
- Outstanding warrant. A 24-year-old San Jose man was arrested at 11:16 a.m. for a previous charges of unlawful possession of a prescription drug; possessing a device used to inject or smoke drugs; and being under the influence of a prescription drug. Bixby and Findley drives.
- Stealing a car. A 39-year-old Hayward man was arrested at 8:55 a.m. for possessing a stolen vehicle and entering a building or dwelling with the intent to burglarize. Main and Corning streets.
Wednesday, Oct. 20
- Intent to commit burglary. Three men from Sacramento were arrested at 1:04 p.m. for conspiring to burglarize a home and prowling on the premises among other charges. 900 block of East Calaveras Boulevard.
- Outstanding warrant. A 42-year-old Milpitas woman was arrested for a previous charges for unlawful possession of a prescription drug at 9:15 a.m. near Diel Drive and Coelho Street.
- Driving Under the Influence. A Milpitas resident (unclear male or female) was arrested at 1:51 a.m. on the 1400 block of East Calaveras Boulevard. The 29-year-old was arrested on the same block where they live for a DUI and not having a license to drive.

- Harming a child. A 41-year-old Milpitas man was arrested at 4:30 p.m. for willfully hurting a child, resisting arrest and battery on an officer. Near Dixon Landing and Milmont Drive.
- Petty Theft. A 21-year-old San Francisco man was arrested for petty theft near the Great Mall at 2:10 p.m. The man is a felon who has previously been convicted of theft multiple times.
- Domestic Battery. A 30-year-old Milpitas man was arrested at 1:24 p.m. for domestic battery, threats, and preventing the victim from reporting. Near Cypress and Bellew.
- Public intoxication. Police arrested a 30-year-old Milpitas man at 12:07 a.m. near the intersection of Selwyn Drive and Dempsey Road.
Monday, Oct. 18
- Domestic violence and obstructing an emergency call. A 30-year-old Milpitas woman was arrested at 4:33 a.m. near Starlite Drive and Capitol Avenue.

- Driving with a suspended or revoked license. A 43-year-old Gilroy woman was arrested at 8:03 p.m. near Montague Expressway and Gladding Court. She had several outstanding warrants for the same matter.
- Outstanding warrant. A 29-year-old Fremont woman was arrested at 5:05 p.m. near South Main Street and Corning Avenue. The previous charges were: being under the influence of a controlled substance, falsely identifying herself as another person and entering a building or dwelling with the intent to commit burglary.
- Commercial burglary. A 32-year-old Oakland man was arrested at 3:56 p.m. on suspicion of commercial burglary and possession of a tool (or tools) used for breaking and entering.
- Public intoxication. A 25-year-old Antioch man was arrested at 6:12 a.m. on suspicion of being drunk in public at Barber Lane and Cottonwood Drive.
- Public intoxication. A 33-year-old San Jose man was arrested at 3:45 a.m. on suspicion of being drunk in public near South Main Street and Corning Avenue.
- Public intoxication. A 29-year-old San Jose man was arrested at Dixon Road and Milmont on suspicion of being drunk in public at 12:46 a.m.
- Restraining order. A 21-year-old San Jose man was arrested on suspicion of violating a domestic violence restraining order at 12:14 a.m. on South Main and Mihalakis streets.
Saturday, Oct. 16
- First time DUI. A 25-year-old Sunnyvale woman was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence at 10 p.m. near Montague Expressway and Trade Zone Boulevard.
- Outstanding warrant. A 47-year-old Milpitas man was arrested at 7:30 p.m. at San Miguel Court and Junipero Drive. He was previously charged with being under the influence of a drug without a doctor's prescription.
- Commercial burglary and conspiracy to commit crime. Two men from San Jose, ages 47 and 49, were arrested at 1:54 p.m. at Great Mall Parkway and Mustang Drive. One man already had a prior conviction for petty theft.
Friday, Oct. 15
- Influence of controlled substance. A 49-year-old Modesto man was arrested at 11:50 p.m. at Great Mall and Falcon drives on suspicion of being under the influence of drugs and possessing a hypodermic needle or syringe.
- Petty theft with prior conviction. A 20-year-old Sunnyvale man was arrested at 5:50 p.m. at Great Mall and Falcon drives.
- Marijuana. A 20-year-old Milpitas man was arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana and resisting or obstructing an officer. The arrest took place at 3:37 p.m. near Selwyn Drive and Dempsey Road.
- Driving under the influence without a license. A 45-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of driving with a blood-alcohol level of more then 0.08 percent. He was also charged with driving with a suspended or revoked license at 1:45 a.m. near South Milpitas Boulevard and Highway 237.
- Driving under the influence. A 44-year-old San Jose man was arrested at 1:17 a.m. near Braley Avenue and Gadsen Drive on suspicion of driving with an blood-alcohol level of more than 0.08 percent.
