Auto Theft, Drug Suspects Arrested In Milpitas

The San Jose residents were arrested at a motel on South Main Street.

MILPITAS, CA — Three people were arrested at a motel in Milpitas, according to Milpitas Police for changes ranging from auto theft to outstanding warrants. In addition to recovering a stolen car, police say they seized methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, personal identifying information of others, suspected stolen credit cards, a stolen United States Passport, and stolen mail. All three suspects are San Jose residents including 33-year-old Athena Venua McNary, 39-year-old Saren Juan Alexander, and 32-year-old Tarron Browden.

A patrol officer noticed the stolen car in the parking lot of a motel in the 400 block of South Main Street on Aug. 9. A check revealed that the car was reported stolen on Aug. 2 from San Jose.

McNary was booked into the Santa Clara County Jail for driving a stolen vehicle and auto theft with priors. Browden was booked into the Santa Clara County Jail for outstanding, no-bail warrants, and Alexander was cited and released for being in possession of a controlled substance.
