SAN JOSE, CA —San Jose police are asking for the public's help in identifying an armed robbery suspect.

Police said the suspect robbed a Public Storage office at 1685 Aborn Road in San Jose around 9:35 a.m. on May 1. According to police, the suspect brandished a gun and demanded money from an employee.

The suspect was able to flee the scene with an undisclosed amount of money in a 1990s-era Chevrolet Blazer.

The suspect is described as a heavy set Hispanic man, who was wearing a black beanie, gray-hooded sweater, black pants and Converse shoes at the time of the crime.
