The Milpitas High varsity football team plays its first home game of the season on Friday, Sept. 9 against Alvarez High-Salinas. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. at Milpitas High.
The Trojans play at Newark Memorial and Mountain View High the following two weeks before returning home for the league opener against Los Altos High on Oct. 7.
