As Internet marketing systems rapidly evolve, it is important for businesses create an Internet Marketing plan so they can capitalize on these changes. Most business owners understand that the Internet can significantly impact the way their business is perceived online. However, most business owners lack the core knowledge to properly establish an effective Internet strategy for their company.

At the end of the class, you will understand the unique aspects that visitors and search engines look for when they visit a website. Discussion will center around actual website examples for small businesses. We will analyze common mistakes made on the web, and reveal best practices for marketing on the Internet. We will review some ideas for generating business for eCommerce sites, and discuss some of the challenges they face in gaining visitors and sales.

Note: This course is not a technical course on how to design or program websites, but a course that teaches you what a good website should look like and how to effectively market your business online.
