Join us on New Year’s Eve for an inter-generational program to reflect on endings and beginnings. First we'll have a ritual to wash away what we don't need from the past year, then we will create a spiral from pine boughs to remind us of what we want to remember from 2011. Finally we will incorporate our hopes for the future into the center of our spiral. The winter evening darkness will make our use of a candle lighting ritual that much more special. We'll join our voices in singing and chanting as we prepare for the new year.
Following our rituals we will toast the New Year a little early! Please bring some sparkling cider or other non-alcoholic beverage or some light snacks to share.
Note: This is an evening program (7-8:30 pm) and is intergenerational. Childcare will be provided for younger tots.
