Firefighter Injured Battling House Fire
The firefighter was transported to the hospital

Firefighters are investigating the cause of a residential structure fire that injured a firefighter in Milpitas Thursday, a fire official said.
Milpitas Office of Emergency Services spokesman Sean Simonson said the fire, which broke out around 4:50 a.m. in the 1700 block of Dennis Avenue, did significant damage to the single-family home and left the residence uninhabitable.
Firefighters were able to contain the fire by 6:29 a.m.

One firefighter was transported to the hospital for evaluation, but no other injuries were reported.
