High School Placement Test (HSPT) and COOP Preparation Intensive Camp
Did you know that Young Genius Educational Center has helped its student attain placements in private/parochial schools such as Bellarmine, Harker, Saint Francis and Presentation? Many parents understand that in order to attend a parochial high school of your choice your child must achieve a qualifying score on their high school placement test (HSPT). At Young Genius, the HSPT is usually taken by 8th graders and is designed to measure a students academic achievement.  Did you know that it does not focus on memorization?

During the Young Genius HSPT and COOP Camp students will: 

• Learn how to approach the verbal, quantitative, reading, mathematics, and language sections through Young Genius' specially designed resources and materials. 
• Take timed sections of the HSPT in order to learn how to budget their time and integrate the skills learned during the sessions.
• Learn how to best approach the HSPT within the allotted time through the expert guidance of our experienced staff.
