Holiday Happenings This Season at Great Mall in Milpitas

Great Mall, the largest outlet and value retail shopping destination in Northern California, is offering more than just great savings this holiday season. Shoppers are invited to celebrate the sights, sounds and sales of the season with extra festive hours, the Simon® Santa Photo Experience, shopper appreciation programs, charitable outreach and more throughout the months of November and December.

“Great Mall is renowned for its impressive selection of name brand retail offerings at up to 70% off and shopper amenities,” said Lynne Rice, director of marketing and business development at Great Mall. “This year, shoppers can expect even more. Our extra holiday hours were scheduled for guest convenience and to provide the perfect opportunity for families to fulfilling their wish lists and share classic and special holiday moments with Santa in a festive atmosphere.”

Early bird and budget-conscious shoppers can get a head start on savings on Thanksgiving when Great Mall opens at 6 p.m. on Thursday, November 27 and remains open through Black Friday, November 28 until 9 p.m.

Beginning Saturday, December 16 and continuing through Wednesday, December 24, Great Mall will, again, offer extra festive hours. SANTA, Now - Wednesday, December 24:

As a kick-off to the season, eager children and their families can experience the joy and magic of the holiday season with the Simon® Santa Photo Experience at Great Mall, sponsored by Tommy Hilfiger Company Store and Gymboree. Guests can save time and avoid lines by reserving their magical moment with Santa online at http://simon.noerrsanta.com.

“BeMerrySanta”

The Noerr Programs, providers of the Simon Santa Photo Experience, will be sharing the heart of Santa online this holiday season through “BeMerrySanta”, where families can keep up with Santa’s daily musings on his Facebook page at facebook.com/BeMerrySanta, on Twitter @BeMerrySanta or Instagram @BeMerrySanta. Parents can also share their child’s good deed with Santa by going to his Magical Badge Generator at simon.bemerrysanta.com. After a child creates his/her badge, they can show Santa on a mobile device or print out their child’s customized badge. He will merrily reward each child for their kind act with a very special chocolate treat from Lindt, while supplies last.

Save the Children

Guests to every Noerr set will have another opportunity to share Santa’s heart by making a donation via The Noerr Programs to Save the Children. For nearly 100 years, this non-profit has given underserved children in the U.S. a healthy start, the opportunity to learn and protection from harm. Since this program began four years ago, Noerr has collected over $708,000 largely due to the generosity of Simon shoppers.

“SPREAD LOVE” AND PAY IT FORWARD GIVEAWAY Saturday, December 6 from noon – 5 p.m.

Simon’s theme for Holiday 2014 is “Spread Love” and Great Mall will share that message with its shoppers by randomly giving away five $200 and 10 $100 American Express®Simon Giftcards®. Shoppers will also receive a $25 American Express® Simon Giftcard® to pay it forward this holiday season.

In the spirit of giving back to the community, Great Mall will host a three “Giving Trees” for seniors, teens and children, benefitting the Salvation Army of Silicon Valley. Shoppers are encouraged to donate a brand new, unwrapped gift as part of this annual initiative. Gifts can be dropped off at Guest Services, located near Entry 2, during mall hours.

These Gift Guides will be previewed as an insert in the December issue of Vogue with the full print version available at Great Mall on Monday, Dec. 1.
