This event had it all: Fresh crab. Dessert auction. Silent auction. Live auction. Big fundraiser for schools.
About 300 people—principals and school employees, parents in PTA and community supporters of the local public schools—attended the Friday night for the Milpitas school district.
In addition to those who were there to eat and drop money at the auctions, countless volunteers made sure operations ran smoothly, from taking crabs to the tables to sending more than 100 auction items home with the winning bidders.
