Update: Major Power Outage in Milpitas
Hundreds of customers are without power. A fix is still hours away.
MILPITAS, CA — PG&E reports a large power outage in Milpitas. Right now, 711 customers are without electricity.
The company reports, "Trees are in contact with electrical equipment" which caused the outage
The outage began at 3:1o p.m. and repairs are not expected until 11:30 p.m.

The area impacted is north of Calaveras Boulevard, between North Park Victoria Drive and Evans Road.
The storm and accompanying high winds have knocked out power to more than 10,000 customers in the Santa Clara Valley.
