Make a Difference in Just One Hour Per Week!

Become a volunteer tutor today and help foster the love of reading in a young student in your community.

Reading Partners is a nonprofit organization that provides literacy intervention programs at elementary schools in low-income communities. At each school, our program transforms a classroom into a Reading Center, and recruits community volunteers from all walks of life to serve as one-on-one tutors for struggling student readers.

Volunteers work with one student for a minimum of one hour per week for the duration of at least one semester, using a highly structured, evidence-based curriculum. No previous experience is required, as all initial training and ongoing support is provided by a full-time staff Site Coordinator, who supervises volunteers and acts as the link between our program and the school.

Reading Partners is seeking volunteer tutors at Alexander Rose Elementary in Milpitas. If you're interested in this fun and easy way to make a difference, please sign up to volunteer at https://svtutorregsite.my-trs....
