He died Friday on the railroad tracks in Alviso.

MILPITAS, CA — A man who died in a Altamont Corridor Express train collision in Alviso on Friday has been identified as 34-year-old Donald Lacy, according to the Santa Clara County medical examiner's office.

Lacy was struck by the train at 8:30 a.m. while jogging on Union Pacific Railroad tracks at Gold Street and Guadalupe River Trail, according to ACE spokesman Steve Walker.

The train was carrying 436 passengers and four crewmembers between Fremont and Great America and no one on the train was injured in the crash, Walker said.
