Meet an “Amazing” Whose Key to Happy Long Life is Golf & Goodness

Ida Pieracci, 102, would have to be pried off the golf course to get her to stop playing. Her love of the game is legendary at the San Jose Country Club, where she holds the course record for the most holes-in-one. Ida plays 5 days a week, and prefers to walk the course rather than use a golf cart.

A San Jose native, she is well-loved at the club, where everybody knows her and enjoys her sparkling sense of humor. Ida’s secret to her happy healthy long life? Goodness. Really! In her words, “Just be a good kid,” and all will be well. Ida is certainly living proof of that!
