Milpitas Liquor Store Sells $1 Million Winning Lottery Ticket

From the California State Lottery:

When the California Lottery’s Emerald 10’s Scratchers® came out, Evangelina Reyes tried her luck on the $10 ticket and won $1,000! Fast forward a month later and she is still riding that lucky streak. This time however, her winning ticket was worth a little bit more.

Evangelina walked into the California Lottery’s Sacramento District Office yesterday holding an Emerald 10’s Scratchers ticket (pictured below) worth a whopping $1 million!

Evangelina’s ticket uncovered the “$$” symbol, which had $1,000,000 next to it, so she automatically won that prize. She said she yelled for joy as soon as she saw that. It goes without saying, but Evangelina tells us that Emerald 10’s is her favorite Scratchers ticket and she tries to play it at least once a day. She also told us that she plans on using her winnings to pay off her house, help out her kids and take a nice long vacation to Hawaii.

There’s even more exciting news coming out of this win.

Evangelina bought her lucky ticket at the USA Liquors located at 148 Calaveras Boulevard in Milpitas (Santa Clara County). This lucky retailer will get a bonus of $5,000 just for selling the winning ticket.
