More Victims Feared For Accused Internet Dating Rapist
Armed with a fake badge and a real gun, the man who met his LA victim through an online dating service raped her in Milpitas, cops say.

MILPITAS, CA — Milpitas Police have arrested a Tracy resident, 54-year-old Stanley Troy Friesen, on charges of rape, sodomy, oral copulation, and impersonating a police officer. His victim is a Los Angeles woman.
According to police, on Jan. 16, Friesen met a woman at a motel in Milpitas after they connected through an internet dating site. He met the victim in her motel room and displayed a badge and firearm, identifying himself as a police officer.
Milpitas Police Lt. Raj Maharaj reports, "He told the victim he wanted to have sex with her and would not tell anyone about the contact if she complied. The victim, fearing for her safety and believing Friesen was a police officer, agreed to have sex with him."
