New Black Bear Diner Opens

Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, the restaurant brings its bear theme to Milpitas.

Celina Gonzales and her husband Sam Ghaben are the new owners of the franchise Black Bear Diner in Milpitas. They also own another diner in Vallejo with their partner.

It took a week longer than planned to open the restaurant. Owner Celina Gonzales said she just wanted to "get it right."

The restaurant is the newest business in town, with 80 to 100 full and part time employees.
